We’re excited to announce that it’s now possible to add “alt text” (captions) to image posts sent to social networks. This is used by the networks to add additional context to an image for the visually impaired.
The following profile types support this functionality:
- Facebook Pages
- Facebook Groups
- LinkedIn Pages
- LinkedIn Profiles
Unfortunately, Instagram Business Pages and Google My Business don’t currently have support for adding alt text via their integrations, but as soon as this becomes available, we will add it to our system.
This feature is currently only available if you are creating posts via our API whilst we work on a brand new “Post Creation” screen within CoSend.
